Andrew Arnold, 73, of Santangelo Circle, Middletown, husband of Elsie (Herring) Arnold, died July 2, 2007 at Haven Health Care in Cromwell. Born in NC, he was the son of the late William Perry Arnold and Maggie (Rome) Arnold and had lived in Middletown for over 40 years.
Mr. Arnold had worked at Mazzotta Construction Co. for many years. He was loved and cherished by his family and well known by many friends in Middletown.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Richard S. Herring of Rocky Hill; four daughters, Laura Hall of Middletown, Paula Best of Warsaw, NC, Gail Cunningham of Middletown, Ruth Herring of New Haven; one brother, Jake Arnold of Mocksville, NC; two sisters, Beatrice Clement of Mocksville, NC, Inez Arnold of Mocksville, NC; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two special “sons”, William and Donald Herring.
