Andrew “Andy” Lee Fisher, Sr., 81, of Elkhart, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital.
Andrew was born on July 20, 1939 to the late Ben and Myrtle (Wiser) Fisher. He was married to the late Cheryl L. (Dorrier) Fisher in 1980. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl on May 16, 2017 and several brothers and sisters.
Andrew is survived by his children, Roy of Kentucky, Cheyenne, Edward, Cody and Nikki Fisher, all of Elkhart; and 4 grand-children.
Andrew was a machinist with Rite Way Steel in Elkhart for over 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman whom loved searching for mushrooms, fishing and hunting. Andrew enjoyed raising his furry children also known as his raccoons. He loved Native American Culture and had a proud collection of memorabilia. Most of all, Andrew was a family man and will be greatly missed.
