Andrew J. Adams (Andy) passed peacefully on December 31, 2015. He is the father of six children: Luc Adams, Wendy Adams, Jason Adams, Emily Dutton, Vicki Glista and Karlee Adams. He is also survived by four brothers, 1 sister and 7 grandchildren.
Andy was born on September 14, 1947 in Oneida, New York. He lived in New York for 25 years before moving to Maryland.
Andy was a retired chemical engineer. He spent most of his career with the Naval Surface Warfare Center. He was a longtime resident of Indian Head, Maryland and was an avid history buff who enjoyed sharing his knowledge with those around him.
Andy was very active within his children’s athletic community and was a coach to many for various sports including baseball, softball and soccer throughout those years.
