Andrew Davila,  47 years.  We lost our beloved Andy tragically on January 24, 2018, at University Medical Center in El Paso, TX surrounded by his family.

“Andy”, as he was fondly known, will forever be remembered for the many things he did for his family, and the love he showed for them in so many different ways.  He was blessed with a forgiving spirit and during his short lifetime kept his worries to himself choosing instead to bring what happiness to those he loved.  A hard worker who never found a job too tough to take on. A painter by trade he painted the local food basket on a ladder with a bucket in one hand and a roller in the other, much determined to earn his dollar.  Humility, kindness, and generosity came second nature to him always willing to lend a hand.  While a youth attending high school in San Manuel, AZ, he was awarded the most valuable player during football season.  He was an avid football fan of the Dallas Cowboys.  During the latter part of his life, he became a single parent to his son, Alexandrue “Pookalali” and took great pride and pleasure in caring for and providing for him.     Bar-b-queuing and preparing food for family and friends brought him much joy.  His departure will leave an empty place in the hearts of those who loved him.  His pain and suffering have ended, he has been set free.  We will forever remember him when we look up on a “starry, starry night” and “see the star”.

He is survived by his parents, Allen and Mary Hazel Arguello; father, William “Billy” A Davila; sons, Alexandrue “Pookalali” R Davila of Silver City and Andrew Steven of Nevada; daughters, Angela Marie and Adrianna and their families of Nevada; brothers, Salvador Anthony Davila of Tucson, Aaron Davila and Anthony Davila of Silver City; sister, Renee Marie Beltran of Tucson. Also, surviving are five grandchildren. Andy is survived by a special niece, Tiffany Lucero a special nephew Brandon Fullen   He held a special place in his heart for his aunts, Georgia and Liz, and uncle, Bill, and his cousin Angel.

He also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, and cousins, too numerous to mention. Andy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tony and Sarah Davila; maternal grandparents, Salvador G Becerra and Connie B Herron; grandparents, Eluid and Elizaida Arguello; Genaro and Juanita Jimenez and an uncle, John R Becerra.
