We are gathered here in memory and celebration of a mother, daughter, sister and a friend. Today, we acknowledge and share both our joy that her life was to us and the pain that her passing brings.

Andrea O’Brien, also known as ‘Angie’ or ‘Pell’, was born on May 19, 1968. She spent most of her life in New York and Florida. Andrea passed in Orlando, Florida on September 14, 2021.

Angie was the 1st of four children.  As a teenager, and being the oldest, she was like a mother, happily volunteering to nurture and care for her younger siblings. As an adult, Andrea lived a life full of passion and without fear. As an Entrepreneur, she sought out opportunities she was drawn to, and relentlessly pursued her dreams, while at the same time, made a lot of friends along the way. She had a big heart – giving her time and caring for people around her, and often times, putting others’ needs above her own. She was energetic, beautiful, fashionable, expressive with her thoughts, and her presence was felt wherever she went. She loved her family and friends, and frequently reached out to loved ones to stay connected and provide support however wag she could.

Angie is survived by her two children (Crystal Cooper, Carnegie Hall), parents (James Mitchell and Novelette O’Brien Mitchell), her sister Annie O’Brien and her two brothers (John and Alberto O’Brien).

Through all the ups and downs in life, Angie fought a good fight and she lived life ‘her way’. May her soul Rest In Peace!
