Andrea Marie Hoffman passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2022 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on December 19, 1980, to Charles Jerome Hoffman and Zella Richards in Ogden, Utah.

She attended North Ogden Jr. High School and graduated from Washington High School in Ogden. In her early years, she enjoyed being in nature and loved hiking. During her 20’s she worked with her sister in Oregon as a medical assistant at A & D Chiropractic.

She was a second mother to many children throughout her life: Micah & Luke Osborne, Ryker & Carson Peterson. She was an avid rock collector and would often go on rock hunting trips with her partner, nieces and nephews. Her brother’s “Raptor Ranch” in Deweyville was one of her favorite places to spend time looking for rocks and taking care of his animals while he was away on military deployments.

She never accepted the limitations that life put upon her even though she struggled with her own health. Andrea was the kind of person who would go the extra mile for those less fortunate and in need. Andrea always offered her help, regardless of if they were family or not. She always wanted to make a difference in someone’s life.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her good friend and partner, Dustin Petersen and many others that were there for her throughout the years.

Andrea is survived by her mother Zella (Ron) Richards and father Charles Hoffman, her brothers Chuck (Samantha) Peña-Hoffman, Zachary (Madison) Hoffman, her sister Athena (Eric) Hanson and her nieces and nephews: Akila Hoffman, Michelle Hoffman, Shelbee Hoffman, Alexander Hanson, Adin Hanson, Mikaela Hoffman, Wade Hoffman, Rayni Hoffman, Ezra Hoffman, and Maelei Peña.

She is preceded in death by her sister: Amy Hoffman; and grandparents: Thomas H. and Mildred B. Shupe, her grandpa Edward Hoffman and grandma Lois Evans.
