Andrea Lee Nelson, age 79, loving mother of three, and adoring wife to husband Garry R. Nelson, passed away peacefully in the early hours on January 9th. Andrea was born March 28, 1942, in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Wayne Leroy Loper and Audra Mae Miller. Her family lived in California and Oregon before residing in Idaho. Andrea was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into her motherhood. Andrea graduated from Nampa High School. She met her husband Garry at a bowling alley amongst friends and the spark ignited starting their next journey to create a family of their own. As a mother she was generous, loving and kind. And she continued to pass that unconditional love onto her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Andrea loved to sing and provide for her family. When she was in high school, she worked at a drive through restaurant where a local band, Paul Revere and the Raiders, noticed her for her outstanding singing talents and asked her to participate as a singer. Then as her family started to grow, she dedicated her time to raising her three children and pursued a long career at Woodgrain Millwork until she retired. Andrea was the foundation of her family, and she will be greatly missed. Andrea is survived by her husband of 62 years, Garry Nelson, her two sons; Garry Nelson and Lance Nelson, daughter; Angela Nelson, brothers; Jeff Loper and Leonard Loper, ten grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
