Andrea “Andi” Richards, 68, of Centralia, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. Andrea was born August 2, 1952, in West Frankfort, IL, the daughter of Andrew Cunningham and Vera Nell (Lawrence) Dearborn.
She married Rod Richards on April 29, 1996 in Central City and he survives her in Centralia.
In addition to her husband Rodney Richards of 24 years, Andrea is survived by her grandson: Drake Moss of Goreville, IL; one brother: Greg Cunningham and wife Mary of Alabaster, AL; one half-sister: Cheryl Sprehe and husband Bruce of Centralia; one sister-in-law: Kathy Bequette of Centralia; six nieces and nephews: Stacie Ring and significant other Brandon Sensel of Centralia, Justin Ring of Centralia, Jarod Bequette of Salem, Heidi Thompson and husband Chad of Carlyle, Sarah Hasahemi and husband Paul of Alabaster, AL, and Samantha Collins and husband Lee of Alabaster, AL; and eight great-nieces and nephews: Jaxon Sensel, Mia Thompson, Bentley Thomspson, Evie Hasahemi, Abbie Hasahemi, Shelby Collins, Taylor Collins, and Jake Collins.
Andrea was preceded in death by her parents: Andrew Cunningham and Vera Nell Dearborn; her step-father: Brad Dearborn; her daughter: Ashley Wolf; and her mother and father-in-law: Betty Richards and Robert “Bob” Richards.
Andrea was a hairdresser for most of her life and retired from the profession. In her free time, she enjoyed watching her grandson Drake play baseball and basketball and spending time with her family.
