ANDRE LAMONT WILSON, affectionately known as “Dre” by family and friends, was born October 10, 1966 to Nathaniel and Ada Wilson in Berkley, California. During Dre’s teen years, the Wilson Family moved to San Diego, California, making this the family’s permanent residence and Dre never left.
Dre worked several jobs during his life’s journey, making many long-lasting friendships along the way.
Dre enjoyed sports, especially football. He was a devout Oakland Raiders fan.
He dearly loved his family and his family loved him. He had an incredible, infectious smile and personality. Dre could always put a smile on your face, especially if you were having a bad day. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma R. Wilson, mother, Ada Wilson, father, Nathaniel Wilson and brother, Leonard Wilson.
On Thursday, January 3, 2013, Andre Lamont Wilson passed away. He is survived by four daughters, Andrea Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Keyshia N. Wilson and Jamilha Y. Parks-Price; two sons, Andre L. Wilson, Jr. and Deaundre Wade; significant other, Misty Anderson and her family; sister, Rachel Mackey and a host of other relatives and friends who will all cherish his memory.
