  • Date Of Death: October 16, 2020

Tosh was born in Saguache, Colorado on September 8, 1931 and grew up with ten siblings. He enjoyed basketball in school along with having fun with his cousins and friends.

After graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force where he was able to receive training as a meat cutter. He enjoyed his life long career of being a butcher in the meat packing and retail industries and made many a friend along the way. His first marriage was to Fannie Sisneros of Brighton (1936-2012), and his second marriage to Gina ended in 1981. He was very happy, living as a bachelor for the rest of his life. His family was always the most important to him, especially ever since his first and only daughter was adopted in 1963.

Tosh loved all sports but football was definitely his favorite. He had season tickets to the Denver Broncos and thoroughly enjoyed being able to take family and friends to the games at Mile High Stadium. Tosh was amazing, although he worked hard with long hours, he always managed to make time for his family and friends. We will always remember those wonderful times at the games with him.

Tosh passed away peacefully at home in Northglenn, Colorado surrounded by his family. He is survived by his brother, Dave Martinez of Saguache, CO; daughter, Kim Martinez of Northglenn, Colorado; granddaughters, April & Emily; great- grandchildren, Andre and Amia; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is loved by all who met him and was the best son, brother, uncle, cousin, padrino, father and grandfather ever.  We will always miss you and love you dad ♡ “Gramps #1”
