Ana Maria Cousar, age 95, Atlanta, died September 19, 2022.

Natália Cousar Almeida (granddaughter), Cadence Thomás (great-granddaughter) – “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you;  the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace”.

(granddaughter Anna Person): I don’t have many memories from my childhood of my grandmother because i was so young but the ones that I do have I like to look back on and it puts the biggest smile on my face. I remember her as a kind, gentle soul who showed me so much love and I will never forget the joy she brought me every time i spoke to her. “For man looks on the outward appearance but the Lord looks on the heart” | Samuel 16:7. One of her favorite verses and one that I will always remember.

Anna was our dear love and a great friend. Our family met Anna when she lived across the street. with her daughter Lee. in Pineville, NC in 1997.

Anna was a unique, sharp, and talented individual always keeping everything around her neat and tidy. We loved Anna and will all miss her so much. Anna was loved by so many and she loved many, especially her family. Anna was very kind and helpful with our children when they were little. We loved Anna as our own Grandma for our children.

Anna, you will always be dear to our hearts we will miss our phone calls hearing your voice and saying “God bless you and I love you!” We are grateful you are safe and resting in Jesus arms with a perfect body. Until we meet again we love you – The Sturdivant family

I’ll always remember Grandma for being a strong and stoic woman, but also a deeply loving woman, who loved her children, and grandchildren, unconditionally – -Andrew Person

Thank you for helping instill discipline in me as a child – Brian Person
