Amos John Bevens, 72, of Garrison, Kentucky went to be with his Lord on Jan. 9, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Lewis County, Kentucky, June 1, 1950, a son of the late Amos Raymond Bevens and Gladys Cooper.
Preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Virginia Mosely Bevens, son, Johny Ray Bevens, grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Grigson, one brother, Earl R. Bevens, three sisters, Garnet Bevens, Omah Bevens and Gladys Fairchild.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy Bevens, one son, David (Jodi) Bevens of Garrison, KY, daughters, Patricia (Marvin) Grigson of Garrison, Blaze Bevens of Garrison, step children, Julie (Phil) Burch of Wheelersburg, OH, Katrina (Craig) Lindsley of Parma, OH and Jeremy (Megan) Rawlins of Wheelersburg, OH, two sisters, Catherine Dugan of Garrison, KY and Rosemary Applegate of Vanceburg, KY, eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
