Amon R. Webb, 94, of LaPorte, Indiana, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006.Mr. Webb was born March 15, 1912 in Nobob, Kentucky to William and Elizabeth (Crabtree) Webb. He was a self employed finish carpenter, and retired from Kegebein Construction Company in LaPorte after 15 years of service. Mr. Webb’s first wife, Philora (Ward) Webb, preceded him in death in 1973. On January 24, 1976, he married Rose Mary (Kieffer) Marciniak, she survives. Mr. Webb enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors.In addition to his wife, survivors include his grandchildren, Matt of Alaska, Jon of Maine, Donna Lambert and Lisa Rowell both of New Hampshire; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; his brother Lyle Sr., of Newfields, New Hampshire and his stepdaughter, Cecelia (Dale) Bell of Beecher, Illinois.
Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his son Amon II, grandson, Amon III, brother, Kenneth Webb and his sisters, Melvinea Colby and Betty Glover.
