Obituary of Amiel Wayne Peterson
PETERSON, Amiel “Pete” Wayne of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Health Source of Saginaw. He was 86 years young. Amiel “Pete” W. Peterson was born on October 26, 1927 to the late Albert and Velma (Robinson) Peterson.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth “Bette” Peterson of Saginaw; four daughters: Susan Anderson of TX, Margaret Peterson, M.D. of CA, Kathryn (John) Zemanek of FL and Teresa (John) Baker of N.C.; 15 grandchildren: Allene and Blythe Anderson; Jason, Patrick, Erin, Shannon, and Nicholas Smythe; John Cole and Colleen Zemanek; Logan, Lee and Maxim Mondol; Josh and Kyle Baker and William Lancaster: and three great-grandchildren: Emme and Noah Frank Smythe and Braylon Plank. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Pete was preceded in death by two daughers: Janet Mondol and Sharon Smythe, and two brothers and one sister.
MILITARY: Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of VFW Post 1859.
