Amelia (Milly) Gill 1923-2012 Milly Gill died peacefully on August 22, 2012 at the Exempla Colorado Lutheran Home in Denver. Milly was born on Dec. 12, 1923 to Mike and Suzanne Makaritis. Her parents were immigrants from Lithuania and settled in Illinois. Milly moved to Canon City, Colorado with her husband, Edwin Gill (divorced and deceased). Rodney and Kenneth, twin brothers, were born to them in August of 1953. Milly spent many years as a housekeeper at St. Scholastica Academy in Canon City. Milly is survived by her sons, Rodney (Laurie) and Kenneth (Sue); her grandchildren, Jared (Shayla), Sara, and Patrick; and a soon to be born great granddaughter.
