Ambrocio Valdepenas de Leon, 67 of Mt. Vernon, New York passed away on September 7, 2022. He was born in Lumban, Laguna, Philippines on April 17, 1955 to Leoncio de Leon and Flora Valdepenas.
Ambrocio emigrated to the United States in 1992. He mostly worked part time as a handy man before serving as a custodian for Tuckahoe Union Free School District in Tuckahoe, New York for five years. He enjoyed retirement and served as Chapter President of the Lumban Association of New Jersey. He was also a member of Fil-Am Bronxville.
He is the husband of Lagrimas de Leon; cherished father of Mark Erwin de Leon (wife: Cara Joan), Francis Reagan de Leon (wife: April), Anthony Roy de Leon, Jasper Jonathan Carasco (wife: Ma. Andrea Eleanor) and Roxanne Joy (fiancé: Lawrence); a dear brother of Gloria, Maximo, Leonardo, Eulogio, Araceli and the late Antonia, Aquilina, Napoleon and Eleuteria; a proud grandfather of Christopher James, Benjamin Anthony, Carmelo Justin, Caleb Jordan, Elise Margaux, Jade Andrea, Brix and Shay.
