Amber Renee Lashuay age 35, of Mt. Pleasant, peacefully passed away January 7th, 2018. She was born January 24, 1982 in Midland, Michigan to Tim and Karrie (Brown) Lashuay. Amber had many talents and hobbies. One of her talents was her special gift with animals.

Her love for animals began on a small farm in Coleman, MI where she was raised. Amber took part in 4-H, where she showed lambs and steers at the Midland County Fair. Another hobby, was exercising. She loved going for long walks with her dog, Kaya. She had a true love for music and concerts, never missing the annual Wheatland Festival. Amber was an amazing artist writing poems, painting, and other artwork. One of her poems was recognized by the Layne Staley Contribute, lead singer of Alice in Chains, where she was flown out to Seattle to read her poem in front of Layne’s family and fans.

Although Amber was very gifted, none were larger than the joy and positive influence she provided to her family and friends. With her beautiful smile and mind, big rosie cheeks, and heart of gold. She will be missed and loved by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
