On September 22, 2006, Amanda Susan Blackett passed on. Amanda is survived by her dear parents, Cindy and Gerry Blackett; her dear brother, Ray Blackett; her loving grandparents, Lee and Margie Bokman; her dear great-grandmother, Ida Bradford; and her step-sister, Candice Blackett. Amanda was born in Annapolis, Maryland in 1988. She was a 2006 graduate of Northeast High School. She was an active member of the school band. Amanda was a student of Anne Arundel Community College where she was studying Nursing. She was employed by the Good Samaritan Hospital as a medical transporter. She had also worked at the Papa Johns on Mountain Road in Pasadena. Amanda was a member of the Junior National Honors Society. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends. She also loved her ‘my space’ page, sending and receiving emails and driving her car. Amanda was a dear person who will be missed by many.
