Amanda Spring Miller, 31, of South Jacksonville, IL died Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Pike County, IL as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born December 25, 1979 in Falls City, NE; the daughter of Gerald and Melanie Robson Miller.
She is survived by her mother, Melanie Robson of Springfield; her grandmother, Marjorie Robson of South Jacksonville; her brother, Sean M. Reavy of Springfield; her fiancé, Joe Priest of Hull; and her godmother, Alice Short of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her father; her maternal grandfather, Cecil Robson; and her paternal grandparents, Howard and Lila Miller.
A 1998 graduate of Jacksonville High School and a 2002 graduate of Western Illinois University, Amanda was employed as an optician with the Prairie Eye Center in Jacksonville and more recently with Family Eye Care in Quincy. She was an active Big Sister with the Morgan County Big Brothers-Big Sisters. While attending school, she was involved in Girl Scouts, 4-H, and Band. She had a passion for dancing and theater.
