Amanda Karla-Rose Zeeb, Incredible Stay at Home Mom, went to heaven with her beloved son Benjamin on April 1, 2021.

Amanda was born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 19, 1985 to Barbara Ruben, who raised her to be a truly incredible human being. In 1991, Amanda and her family migrated to Scottsdale, Arizona, where she grew roots and eventually graduated from Coronado High School in 2003. During her formative years, Amanda played soccer, swam competitively, and learned to love musical theatre.

After high school, Amanda spent her life living up to her Mom’s example. She spent several years teaching water safety to children, and later became a paraeducator working in the Scottsdale School District in a variety of roles focused on special education. In 2005, Amanda welcomed her first son Bradley. In 2006, she met her future husband, and maybe the most patient man in the world, Mike Zeeb. They quickly introduced Xander later in 2006, and he’s needed no introduction since. When Mike and Amanda married in 2007, she added two step-daughters, Aspen and Rylee, to create a modern mixed family.

Amanda was special for so much more than being an incredible mom. She loved apple juice, watermelon, and flip flops. Her element was the beach, the classroom, or the stage, and she was never late. Amanda wished on airplanes, knew every song on the radio, and never missed the chance to take her kids to Disneyland. She brought a special energy to everything she did, building an impressive community of friends who saw her for what she was: bright, kind, loving, fun, funny, and fiercely dedicated to her kids, friends, communities, and causes.

Amanda is survived by her husband Mike, five children (Aspen, Rylee, Bradley, Xander, and Emaleigh), her sister Samantha, niece Madison, brother Steven, her Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bob, and two cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara, and her son Benjamin, who will rest forever at his mom’s side.
