Amanda Joy Resendiz, age 14, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010. A freshman student at Brandeis High School, she was born in San Antonio on June 20, 1996. Amanda Joy is survived by her parents, Irene and Elden Teegarden; great grandmother, Amelia Garcia; grandparents, Beatrice Garcia and Gary & Nadine Carroll; brother, Isaac Anthony Teegarden; Uncles and Aunts, Dillon & Leticia Willson, Nina Trevino, Kevin Baker, Billy & Zeynep Carroll, Shawna and Ryan Kirkland; great uncle and aunt, Raul & Aurora Escamilla, Raymond & Elsa Lopez; cousins, Raven Willson, Jaedon Trevino, Nivany Trevino, Isis Trevino, Frances Carrejo, Marina L. Montez-Baugh, Emily Carroll, Rachel Carroll, Matthew Carroll, Danielle Trevino, Corey Brown, Landon Kirkland, Ray Lopez, Nadia Lopez; her beloved pets, Daisy and Pepper. Amanda Joy had a heart of gold, which brought light into the world to those around her. She had a sense of humor beyond her years that brought tears of laughter. Her adventureous spirit and avid love of music made her a truly unique child of God. She will be with us in our hearts and minds always. We will miss you Forever, our Mandi-poo.
