Amanda Graham, 35, of Peoria passed away on March 17, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
A daughter, wife, and mother, she was born on January 14, 1983, to Don and Ann (Dooley) Allison. Amanda grew up in Bartonville, IL and graduated as valedictorian from Limestone High School in 2001. After high school, she attended Bradley University where she received her degree in Business Management.
In 2006, she married Andrew Graham. He survives along with her parents, maternal grandmother Margaret Allison, protective big brother Derik Allison of Bartonville, and her daughters’ Kenley and Karly. Her grandparents, Fred and Helen Dooley and William Allison, preceded her in death.
While it was shorter than we hoped, Amanda would tell you that she had a really great life. Her parents adored her and were always there for her. Her mom was her best friend and they didn’t go a day without talking…often 5 times a day! Growing up, she happily spent weekends and summers on the softball pitching mound and her Dad still has the bruises on his shins to prove it! She was blessed with many lifelong friendships that meant so much to her and a marketing career at Caterpillar that provided great opportunities and experiences.
The absolute best part of her life was being a mom. She adored Kenley and Karly and was so proud to be their mom. From beach vacations, dance parties, movie nights, and trips to the park, she lived, loved, laughed and created memories with them to last a lifetime.
