Amanda Dale Childers, age 31, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at J W Ruby Memorial Hospital, after a short illness with asthma. She was born September 10, 1986 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of Donna (Dunn) Bailey & companion, Randy McCray, her dad Randy Weekley and her father, Howard Bailey.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Shane Childers of Clarksburg, WV; two children, Devin Childers and Hayleigh Childers; a brother, Todd Weekley of Clarksburg, WV; two sisters, Patricia Swisher & her husband, Chris of Clarksburg, WV and Elizabeth Gainer & her husband, Keith of Belpre, Ohio; father-in-law, Dale Hardy of Clarksburg, WV; mother-in-law, Jeanne Childers of Clarksburg, WV; very close aunt, Mary D. Minigh; several nieces and nephews.
Amanda is preceded in death by her two grandmothers, Madelyn Dunn and Mary Newlon; a grandfather, Charles Dunn; an aunt, Martha Lynch and Anna May Freeland.
Amanda worked for Sharpe Hospital as a behavioral health advocate. She attended Centerbranch Assembly of God. Amanda was a loving, caring and thoughtful person to all that knew her.
