Alyce M. Ross, 82, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, in Jacksonville at the home of her daughter.
She was born April 10, 1935, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Walter and Maggie L. Reading Ross. She married Riley Seay and he preceded her in death. She later married William Ross and he also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Ross-Lusk of Jacksonville and Cheryl Tracy of Springfield; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Ross and Maggie Ross King, and one son, Jacques Riley Seay Sr.
Mrs. Ross was a legal advocate for many years at the Women’s Crisis Center in Jacksonville. Alyce loved everybody, but she especially loved her children and her grandchildren.
