Alvin was a loving husband, father, Pawpaw, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by his parents, William David Johnston and Lucille Langston Johnston Hollis; his step father, Aubrey Hollis; his brother, John Johnston; and his sister, Whilmena to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Gwendolyn Martin Johnston; his sons, Christopher (Holly) Johnston and Alvin William Johnston, Jr.; 3 grandchildren, Cheyenne Johnston, Lance Johnston, and Regan Johnston; and his nephews, David (Alex) Johnston and William “Billy” Johnston.Masses may be made in Alvin’s memory.
