Mr. McIver had attended Albany, Kentucky schools. Later he moved to the Muncie area around 1940. Alvin married the love of his life, Clara (Zachary) McIver and she preceded him in death in 2006. He had worked for Borg Warner in the Machine Shop Dept.
Survivors include one brother, Stanley Aaron McIver, Albany, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
