Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Vernabelle in 1982; 3 brothers, John, Joseph, and Leo Schmitt; and 3 sisters, Hilda Hatting, Marie Ziegmann, and Louise Baker in January of 2005.
He was a member of St.
Alvin enjoyed trains, reading, brick work, and his grandchildren.
