Alvin Leon Day went to meet his Lord on July 16, 2010. He was born October 28, 1948 in Joplin, Missouri and grew up and went to school in Parma, Idaho. He served in Korea with the army for 3 years. Leon loved to go camping and fishing and enjoyed riding his four-wheeler with family. He passed away at home after a long battle with cancer. He’s survived by his wife, Sharon Day, and daughter, Danielle and her husband Toby Carlock and her three kids, Bravis, Nathan and Cheyeanne. Along with four step sons, Robert Cain and his four children of Emmett, Kalvin and Trinity Hussman and his six children of Emmett, Robert Grigg of Nampa, Darrin and Jolee Grigg and his four children of New Plymouth, and one step daughter, Jackie and Brad Bowles and her three children . Also by his mother and father, Alvin and Florence, of Nampa, five sister and brother, Sunny and Jerry Buckley of Missouri, Shiela and Bob Walker of Middleton, Sharron Cemer of Nampa, Donna Bean of Nampa, Bruce Day of Nampa, Robin and Steve Kiernan of Kuna, and many nieces and nephews throughout the valley. He worked for Plexus for twenty years. He will be missed and loved by all.
