He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Hao Beedie; daughter, Sophie Beedie-March and husband, Jef March of Shalimar, FL; son, Michael and wife, Katherine, of Navarre, FL; son, Gary and wife, Lynne, of South Mills, NC; son, William, of Elizabeth City, NC; and three grandchildren.
