Alvin Eugene Holley, 63, of Middletown, beloved husband of Cheryl (Williams) Holley for 32 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in Colerain, NC on October 26, 1953, he was the son of the late Clarence and Phoebe (Perry) Holley, Sr.
Along with his loving wife, Alvin leaves to cherish his memory; his two children, Ryan Holley of Meriden and LaTia Holley of Middletown; two grandchildren Iyliyyah Holley of Houston, TX and Jaden Peterson-Holley of Meriden; two sisters, Janice Perry of Cromwell and Melody Ray of Middletown; and three brothers, Clarence Holley, Jr. (Carol), Vernon Holley, all of Middletown and Donald Boxley (Stella) of Meriden. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends, including a very special friend, Ronald Edens.
Besides his parents and grandparents, his sister-in-law, Carla Brackett-Holley and his nephew, Myron Holley, predeceased Alvin.
