Apostle Alvin Arnold was born on May 20, 1948 to the late Tyree and Eloise Arnold in Atlanta Ga. He grew up in The Joy Land Community and attended Price High School.
He was a dedicated and loyal retiree for General Motors and served for 32 years. Upon retiring he was employed as a security officer for Compass Bank of Alabama for 9 years where he served dutifully.
He was married on June 29, 1995 to Judith Taylor.
In his leisure he enjoyed many days of fishing with his special friend, Mr. Norman.
Apostle Alvin Arnold accepted Christ at an early age. He was no stranger to the ministry and loved the Lord. He devoted his life to saving souls. His Christian life was evident in all that he did and it was exemplified in his ministry where he served as an Elder, Bishop, Prophet and Apostle.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Tyree and Eloise Arnold; two brothers, Marvin and Avery Arnold; and his only sister, Deanna Derby Russell.
He leaves to mourn: his devoted wife of 20 years, Judith Taylor Arnold of Decatur; daughters, his first born, Chau-Cella Arnold-Maclin of Memphis, TN, Chermaine Johnson Wilburn (Rodney), Dometrice Clemmons Lassiter (Gino) all of Atlanta; three sons, Daryl Watkins (Shemika), Darnell Taylor all of Anderson Indiana and Shawn Pearson of Michigan; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Carrie) Arnold and Harold Arnold all of Atlanta and a host of very special loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
