Details:   Alton R. Steger, 81, a resident of Seaford, DE for four years died on April 15, 2013 at Seaford Center Genisis Elder Care. He was born in Washington DC on February 18, 1932 to the late Edwin J. and Evelyn Steger. Mr. Steger served in the US Army from 1952 until 1954 and was a Korean War Veteran. Mr. Steger was a resident of Glen Burnie for most of his life but also lived in Baltimore for 24 years prior to moving to Delaware.  He drove a tractor trailer for the State of Maryalnd for 35 years retiring in 2005.  Mr. Steger was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  His hobbies included bingo, putting together puzzles, and he was very active with the senior citizens at the Seaford Genisis Center. Mr. Steger is survived by his sons; Steven Steger of Seafor, DE, David Steger of Pasadena, Richard Steger of Baltimore, and Mark Steger of Baltimore, his daughters; Brenda Hogan and Debbie Darrell both of Glen Burnie, his grandchildren; Christopher Darrell of SanFrancisco, CA, Deanna Frye of Baltimore, Tricia Smith of Wiesbaden, Germany, Stacy Hogan of Tampa, FL, Kelly Faaloni, Katie Steger and Hannah Steger all of Pasadena, Tina Steger of Glen Burnie, Steven Steger of Lehigh Acres, FL, and Bret Hall of Seaford, DE and 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.
