Muncie-A.D. Hart-, 75, passed away Tuesday evening, October 25, 2011, at the Parkview Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. He was born on, February 9, 1935, in Farmland, the son of Benjamin Newton and Eva M. (Wood) Hart.
Mr. Hart graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1957. A. D. Married the love of his life Mona Jane (Rager) Hart on, September 9, 1960, in Muncie and she preceded him in death on January 1, 2001. He worked in the production dept. of Delco Battery for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1982. A.D. enjoyed playing golf and had been a member of the Delaware Country Club and played golf at the Lake View Greens Golf Course in Eaton as well. In his younger days, he enjoyed out door activities especially fishing. In recent years, A. D. could be seen walking the mall and working on genealogy.
Surviving are his son, Michael Hart (wife-Nina), Mooresville; two sisters, Margaret Stephenson, Mary Jo Sollars (husband-Ray), both of Yorktown; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife of 41years, Mona, he is preceded in death by his parents, and a son Tommy Hart in 1978; several brothers and sisters.
