Althea May Larkin, age 89, of Prince Frederick, MD, formerly of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late William Edward Larkin, Jr., passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016. Born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late Earle and Netty Wakeman, she had been a Fairfield resident since 1965 prior to moving to Maryland in 2012. Mrs. Larkin was a 1944 graduate of Bassick High School in Bridgeport. She worked for the Southern New England Telephone Company until marrying William and raising her daughters, Nancy and Patty. Later in life, Althea worked at Holland Hill Elementary School in Fairfield.
