Althea M. Jaxheimer, 92, of Allentown, passed away, Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in Westminster Village, Allentown. Althea and her late husband, Lewis R. Jaxheimer shared over 61 years of marriage, until his passing in 2004. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Mabel (McCracken) Hippenstiel. She was a graduate of Liberty High School. Althea was a member of the former Midway Manor Moravian Church where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. Survivors: sons, Jeffrey T. Jaxheimer and his wife Caroline of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and, Robert L. Jaxheimer and his wife Carol of Bethlehem; brother Raymond Hippenstiel and his wife, Betty of Bethlehem. Althea is also survivied by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
