Alta G. Studley, 89, of Lake Floyd, Bristol, WV, passed away Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 at Hospice House in Monroe, NC. She was born January 19, 1924 in Salem, the daughter of the late Marshall and Lavada Gallion Gainer. She was married on April 20, 1944 to William Studley who preceded her in death January 16, 2011. Surviving are their children, William Terry Studley and wife Linda and Annette Coan and husband Jack. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Kimberly Lucas, Sabrina and husband Chris Thompson, and Ryan Studley; three great-grandchildren, Bradlee Messer, Brandon Messer, and Marissa Clontz all of Monroe, NC.
