Alphonse “Jack” Rahe was Born August 30, 1930 passed March 31, 2017 in Cuyama Valley. He married Eileen Prsha on November 18, 1950. He was a strong man, one hard to forget. He was very adventurous trading gas and other goods during the depression at a very young age. He followed the wheat harvest from Arizona to Washington, hunted, flew airplanes, enjoyed cars, was an auto mechanic, built houses, farmed, was a paint perfectionist of cars and boats, had horses and cattle, but fishing was his passion and traveling to Alaska. He is a man that will not be easily forgotten. Jack is survived by his wife Eileen Rahe, Christine and Jim Wegis, Marvin and Christine Rahe, Susan and Willie Castellanos, Ronald and Laura Rahe, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
