Alondra Iranelis Hernandez, 8, of Middletown, beloved daughter of Mayra Sanchez and her partner, TiTi Marrero of Middletown and Andres Hernandez of Puerto Rico, passed away on Wednesday, February 23rd at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Alondra, who her mother affectionately called “Mi Princesa” and her mother, Mayra, shared a deep love and bond that will never break even though she is gone and she will always be TiTi’s “Baby Girl”. Alondra was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and has lived in Middletown for the last five years. She was previously a student at Bielefield and Moody Schools and presently a student at Macdonough School, was active in Oddfellows Play House, part of Wesleyan Traverse Square Tutoring Program, CRT and a member of the North End Action Team. Alondra loved animals, had a passion for life and learning and easily made friends. Her beautiful smile and gentle nature will be missed by all whose lives she has touched.
