Alma Viola Stansbury Osenbaugh, 86, Anderson, died July 9, 2003 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis Indiana after a brief illness. She was born July 20, 1916 in Delaware County, Indiana, and resided in Anderson. She had lived in Anderson since 1949. She retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 20 years as an inspector. She was a 1934 graduate of Eaton High School. She was a member of East Lynn Christian Church and the Disciples of Christ. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was an avid collector and loved cooking. She wintered in Clearwater, Florida for 24 years. She is survived by her daughter, Rita J. & husband Clayton Logan of Anderson; sons, Carl ”Butch” David & wife Arleen Milburn Osenbaugh of Syracuse and Gary E. & wife Sandra Lowe Osenbaugh of Middletown; half-siblings, Carl E. Johnston Jr. & wife Betty of Muncie, Nellie Ruth & husband William Hoover of Winchester and Janet M. & husband Floyd Williams of Pheonix, Arizona; seven grandchildren, Debbie & husband Tim Livesay of Pendleton, Robert & wife Susan Brown of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Brent Osenbaugh of South Bend, Brian & wife Peggy Osenbaugh of Ft. Wayne, Tamera & husband Jim Denney of Anderson, David & wife Ronda Osenbaugh of Anderson and Darren & wife Angie Osenbaugh of Middletown; fifteen great grandchildren, Zachary Livesay, Kaitlyn Livesay, Emily Livesay, Kyleigh Brown, Jacob Brown, Alex Osenbaugh, Chandler Osenbaugh, Brene’ Osenbaugh, Brook Osenbaugh, Blake Brown, Rylan Denney, Trevar Denney, Bailey Osenbaugh, Brandon Osenbaugh and Adam Osenbaugh; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving is special friend Diane Carpenter and the many friends at Fall Creek Retirement Village. She was preceded by her husband whom she married April 21, 1935, Oscar David Osenbaugh on March 29, 2001, parents Warren Earl & Edith N. Boyer Stansbury, grandson Shon David Osenbaugh in 1971 and sisters, Virginia Lewman in 2001 and Betty Floyd in 1954.
