Muncie-Alma M. (Darling) Scott, 93, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 21, 2010, at Elmcroft of Muncie following an extended illness. She was born on March 6, 1917 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Howard and Cora Elizabeth (Vannatta) Darling. Alma was reared in Randolph County and graduated from Parker City High School in 1935.
Survivors include her son, Steve Scott (wife-Sue), Muncie; three grandchildren, Laurie Hackler (husband-Scott), Norris, Tennessee, Sean Scott (wife-Heather), Alexandria, Virginia and Stacey Edwards (husband-Vince), Daleville; five great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Winifred Darling, Farmland; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by one son, Larry Scott in 2002 and one brother, Clarence Darling in 1968.
