Alma M. Mannon Partington, 91, Anderson, passed away August 11, 2008 at Community Northview, Anderson after an extended illness. She was born October 20, 1916 in Pendleton, Indiana, and resided in Madison County all of her life.
Alma served her country in the US Army Air Force. She retired from the Indiana State Employment Service after 25 years of service. She was a member of Central Christian Church.
Alma volunteered as a Pink Lady at Community Hospital where she received a pin commemorating 8000 hours of service.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Claude & Edna Bower Mannon and several brothers and sisters.
