Alma Jean Yarbrough was born to Hattie and Monroe White on September 20, 1942, in Learned Mississippi. She was the youngest of 5 children and was affectionately known as Baby Jean.
Alma completed her education at John Marshall High School, graduating in June 1960. She was joined in Holy Matrimony with Samuel Jackson Yarbrough, Jr. (who preceded her in death in 1975), in July 1967 and to this union one child, Carol Lynn was born.
Alma was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her daughter Carol was her everything.
Sadly, Alma departed this life at 9:17 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022, at the age of 79.
Alma leaves to mourn her only child Carol, Edna Harris (Sister), Otis White (Brother), Leland Muhammad (Nephew), Angelo Powell (Nephew), 3 grandchildren, Alanni Hooks, Asia Webb, and Jalen Webb and a host of other relatives and very dear friends.
