Alma L. Eckert, age 88, passed away August 17 at I.U. Health Hospice surrounded by her family.
She was born in Troy, Ohio to John G. and Corinne (Levereau) Mason. She is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Robert, and her six daughters Linda Lopez (Fransisco Lopez), Denise Eckert-Hill, Tama Eckert (Tom Roberts), Terry Eckert (Robert McIntosh), Vickie Dahl (Jack Dahl), and Cheryl Jackson (Morris Jackson), seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings and her son-in-law Daniel Hill. She was a skilled homemaker and proud supporter of her children’s education and achievements.
