Alma Day, daughter of the late Minnie and Bud Reed, was born on March 23, 1935, in Brownsville, Tennessee, “where all the pretty women came from,” she said. She attended Carver High School. On July 19,1954, she was united in Holy Matrimony with Johnnie Glen Day, Jr. They moved to Indianapolis, Indiana and started a family. Unto this union, four children were born, Pamela, Michael, Richey and Ramona.
Alma was a homemaker and took pride in taking care of her home, children and husband. She was married for 46 years, until Johnnie passed on July 28, 2000. Alma
