Allyson Sarale Palaia, 69, of Westminster, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at her residence. Born June 25, 1946 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Irene Beecher and Theodore Allen Jemmerson. She was the wife of the late Louis Palaia who died January 18, 2010.
She worked as a pharmaceutical technician for 43 years at Read’s, which is now Rite Aid. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Smallwood and enjoyed visiting Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Charlestown. She enjoyed spending time with her family, family picnics, gardening, bus trips with her sisters and camping with her grandsons.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Ramona L. Ayers-Condon, Bonnie J. and Bart Kraft, Stephanie and Tony Calabria and Shelley and Alex Sloss, son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Ani Palaia, sisters Margaret E. Owings, Charlotte I. Bitzel and Darlene A. Conaway and a brother Ronald R.W. Jemmerson, grandchildren Robert Miller, Jr., George Condon, III, Heather Matos, Amanda Lewis, Shane Beacham, Dominic Calabria, Cindee Beacham, Tara Calabria, Gracie Beacham, Vincent Calabria, Bella Palaia, Kylee Beacham, Nate Palaia and Gabby Palaia, great-grandchildren, Sarah Condon, Kody Miller, Kory Miller, Aaliyah Matos, George Condon, IV, Hayden Matos, Alex Matos, Deondre Lewis, Haylie Matos and Delante Lewis.
