Allen Steve Knight, 68, of Martinsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at his home in Martinsville.
He was born on June 17, 1948, to his parents, Harold and Marjorie L. (Blaydes) Knight.
He worked as a railroad engineer for Conrail and CSX Transportation for 40 years. Allen served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Libby (Anderson) Knight, his children, Matt (Julie) Knight of Morgantown, and Andrew (Kellie) Knight of Martinsville, his mother, Marjorie L. (Blaydes) Knight, one sister, Patricia (Dave) Cress of Indianapolis, three brothers, Michael (Carolyn) Knight of Greenwood, Jeff Knight of Trafalgar, and Ricky (Debby) Knight of Morgantown and five grandchildren; Max, Luke, Logan, Connor, and Kaylee Knight.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Knight.
