Allen S. Greene of Scottsdale, Arizona died on October 5 at his home surrounded by family and friends.

Allen S. Greene was born in Prophetstown, Illinois and at age sixteen moved to La Salle, Illinois.  He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II and graduated from Beloit College, where he met his future wife, Janet (Fritz) Greene (1926-1979).  He obtained his law degree from Chicago Kent College of Law and was an attorney in Wheaton, Illinois for nearly fifty years.  Allen Greene was an avid golfer who, among his many accomplishments on the links, made seven holes-in-one.  A lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears, he took joy in watching his beloved teams win championships in their respective sports.

He is survived by his son, A. Wilson and wife Margaret of Walden, Tennessee, and his devoted companion, Dorothy Rightnowar of Scottsdale, and her children J.R. (Colleen), Suzanne Evans (Michael), Stephen (Andrea) and six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
