Allen Robertson, age 62, of Algona, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his home in Algona. Allen Charles Robertson, the son of Josephine Martinez, was born on April 6, 1956, in Sacramento, California. He attended Realinda Elementary School and graduated from El Dorado High School in 1972. Following his graduation, Allen enlisted in the United States Army on December 19, 1972 and was honorably discharged on August 11, 1976. On August 19, 1995, Allen was united in marriage with Joelene Schneider in Algona. He worked in the construction industry. Allen is survived by his wife of 21 years, Joelene of Algona; daughter, Jen Aultman of Algona; grandson, Alec Aultman of Algona; granddaughter, Paige Aultman of Algona; sisters, Elizabeth Rapp of Boise, Idaho and Rexann Robertson of Lake Tahoe, California and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Warner of Reno, Nevada. He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Josephine and Cookson Carpenter; father, John Jones and brother, Dennis Warner.
