Allen Robert Willis, 61 of Reedsville, went to be with the Lord and his loving wife Dorthy, on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Allen was born on February 13, 1953 in Morgantown, WV, son of the late John Hardin Willis Sr. and Gladys Virginia Willis-Stone. Allen graduated from Newburg High School in 1972. Allen was a Veteran of the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany for most of his tour of duty. He enjoyed working and running heavy equipment. For many years he worked in construction, as a Foreman, in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Washington DC. Allen was also a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He loved playing his guitar and singing at various nursing homes throughout Mon and Preston counties. He had a huge heart and loved helping others in need. He was a member of the West End United Brethren Church where he faithfully served God. Allen is survived by his two sons, Robert “Robbie” Willis and Katie, Kingwood, Daniel Willis and Stacey, Grafton; four grandchildren, Brady, Jordan, Jereme and Madison (Maddie) who was his pride and joy; three brother, Tom Willis and Pam, Independence, Tim Willis and Lisa Larew, Terry Willis and Cyndi all of Gladesville; three sisters, Kathy Savage and Jeff, Morgantown, Susan Pratt, Bluemont, VA and Libby Durst, Frostburg, MD; one sister-in-law, Louella Willis, Morgantown, he also was a beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Allen leaves behind many beloved friends, who will miss him and his kind and loving ways. In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Dorthy Ann Willis , one sister Linda Willis, one brother, John Willis Jr. and an infant brother Kevin Willis.
