Allen J. Fox, age 64, of Fairmount, IN, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Community Hospital in Anderson, IN. He was the son of Robert E. Fox, Fairmount and the late Mary E. (Titus) Fox. He was born on April 25, 1948.He graduated from Fairmount High School in 1966 and attended Indiana Business College. He married Sandy Moore on August 27, 1971 in Fairmount. Allen was the owner of Hap Industries, He had also been the owner of the Fairmount and Summitville Laundromats as well as Fox’s Market in Fairmount during the 70’s.Allen enjoyed golf, street rods and his granddaughter, and was a member of the Great Pretenders Car Club. As an Indy 500 fan he attended more that 20 races. He is also survived by his wife: Sandra Fox, Fairmount, IN Daughter: Kara (Scott) McGraw, Swayzee, IN Granddaughter: Sarah Jayne McGraw, Swayzee, IN One Brother: Robert Jr. (Cindy) Fox, Middletown, IN Nephew; Brandon Fox, Middletown, IN Niece; Shea (Gregg) Buck, Swayzee, IN Many special friends.
